Where the AHVE42CP1300 fits. The AHVE42CP1300 is Goodman’s variable-speed R-32 air handler in the 3.5-ton class — the indoor half that lets Goodman’s variable-speed outdoor units (GXV6, GZV6, GZV7) reach their top efficiency ratings, with an ECM blower that ramps smoothly for quieter operation and better humidity control than a single-speed handler. Pair it with a 3.5-ton Goodman variable-speed condenser or heat pump for a fully matched system. Confirm the match with the free sizing tool, and see all 3.5-ton Goodman air handlers →
