Where the DIYCASSETTE12HP-230D25-O fits

A complete single-zone system: outdoor condenser, ceiling-cassette head, and the line set that joins them. At 12,000 BTU it is typically specified for roughly 450 to 550 square feet, but insulation, ceiling height and climate all move that figure, so check it against a load calculation. It runs on 230V and needs a dedicated 230V circuit. The DIY line ships with pre-charged Quick Connect line sets — no vacuum pump, no refrigerant handling, no EPA 608 certification. Installing it yourself still keeps the 7-year compressor and 5-year parts coverage.
