The MRCOOL® 4th Generation DIY ®36K BTU Ductless Wall Mounted Air Handler is the highest capacity air handler in the DIY® series and has the ability to cover an area up to 1,500 sq. ft. Even with that level of performance, it can still deliver an impressive 18 SEER efficiency rating when connected to a MRCOOL® condenser. It also features multiple operating modes which include HEAT, COOL, AUTO, DRY (dehumidify), and SLEEP. To take the functionality even further, this unit can also be operated by your Apple or Android smartphone with use of our convenient Smart HVAC app. This air handler has a compact design which makes it easier to mount to most interior walls when using the included mounting plate. This air handler is also designed to be installed using MRCOOL’s® patented Pre-Charged Quick Connect® Line Set. The quick connectors allow the line set to be installed in a few simple steps with two wrenches. It comes precharged with R-410A refrigerant, so no vacuuming or charging of the system is required once installed.
