The MRCOOL® MCMP4860C-F Evaporator Coil Flange Adapter is the essential hardware solution for homeowners and HVAC professionals looking to create a flawless transition between their heating and cooling units. Precision-engineered to accommodate larger 4-ton to 5-ton evaporator coils, this adapter solves the frequent challenge of aligning different cabinet sizes during a high-capacity system install. By integrating this specialized flange, you eliminate the need for makeshift sheet metal fixes, ensuring a clean, airtight, and professional-grade connection that maximizes the performance and airflow of your high-output equipment.
Designed to work exclusively with MRCOOL® furnaces, the MCMP4860C-F is not compatible with furnaces from other manufacturers. The MRCOOL® Furnace and the 4 – 5 Ton Cased Evaporator Coil are separate, primary components of your HVAC system and must be purchased separately. This adapter is strictly an installation accessory intended to join two primary units together.
Before completing your purchase, we recommend verifying that your MRCOOL® furnace features a “C-size” cabinet width (21 inches) to ensure full compatibility with this adapter. By choosing the MCMP4860C-F, you are investing in a streamlined installation process that assures your MRCOOL® system operates with the airtight precision it was designed for, preventing costly energy loss and ensuring your 21″ cabinet configuration remains stable for years to come.
